Waukee Community Schools Foundation Annual Auction
Tickets to the Waukee Community Schools Foundation Annual Auction Event will go on sale Saturday, January 11. The Annual Auction will be held Saturday, February 29 at The Ron Pearson Center in West Des Moines. Every Auction has a destination theme and this year, Waukee families will be traveling across the pond to London!
“We were inspired by the whimsy of Mary Poppins’ London. So it will be Cherry Tree Lane meets Abbey Road!” said Auction Co-Chair Liz Rivenburgh.
It promises to be an unforgettable evening with fun, food, and live entertainment by Decoy. There will be both a silent and live auction with awesome items to bid on. This event is the year’s biggest fundraiser for the Waukee Community Schools Foundation.
The Foundation’s mission is to empower all Waukee Community School District students to achieve their aspirations by enhancing their educational experience. The Foundation carries out this mission in three primary ways: classroom grants to teachers for innovative and interesting learning experiences, professional development grants for teachers to continue their own education, and scholarships for our graduating seniors.
